Human review is a load-bearing part of the proposed FASO institution.
FASO is not designed as an autonomous authority. Its public-interest proposition depends on independent governance, bounded technical operation, evidence stewardship, human review, research and disciplined publication.
The people position today
Founder-led now. Designed to become independently governed.
FASO is presently a founder-led initiative seeking independent validation. The founding identity is not published on this website. No board, executive team, academic partner, independent reviewer or operational staff group is presented as appointed unless that relationship has been formally accepted, authorised for publication and consented to by the person concerned.
This is not an attempt to make the human dimension invisible. It is the same evidence discipline applied to institutional relationships: interest is not appointment, correspondence is not participation and review is not endorsement.
Who is behind FASO?
Founder-led today. Accountable without making staff a public target.
FASO is currently developed under a private founding authority, and the founder is not publicly identified. That is a deliberate safety, security and data-minimisation decision. It is not an attempt to avoid scrutiny or allow the institution to operate without accountable governance.
Staff privacy and safety
FASO does not routinely publish the names, photographs, personal biographies, private contact details, home addresses, working patterns or precise locations of employees, contractors or volunteers. A public-facing role may carry limited professional identification where it is necessary, proportionate, lawful and subject to an individual risk and data-protection review.
Trustee and director accountability
When trustees or company directors are formally appointed, their legal names and governance roles will be filed and published where required by the law and registry rules applying to FASO. Home addresses, private contact details and other information that is not required for public accountability will not be voluntarily published. No trustee or director is implied to exist today.

Human functions
The proposed observatory depends on people with separated responsibilities.
Technology can preserve and present evidence. People must challenge scope, weigh limitations, govern conflicts, protect the public-interest purpose and decide what can responsibly be published.
Purpose-holding governance
Protect the public-interest purpose, oversee conflicts and ensure that funding, relationships and urgency do not silently widen authority.
Technical operation
Operate and secure the observation infrastructure without acquiring authority to improve, suppress or reinterpret the evidence.
Evidence stewardship
Protect provenance, custody, time order, corrections and access while keeping source evidence distinct from later interpretation.
Independent review
Challenge method, evidence, failure and uncertainty without becoming a route to implied endorsement.
Research and evaluation
Turn important questions into falsifiable work and keep hypotheses, protocols, observations and findings visibly separate.
Publication and public dialogue
Explain supported information and its limitations without judging motive, assigning blame or exposing protected detail.
Human-accountability rules
Real people. Real authority boundaries. No implied relationships.
- Public identification follows the person’s role, applicable legal duties and the privacy safeguards described above.
- Review, advice, interest, correspondence and funding discussion remain accurately described.
- Conflicts, delegated authority and responsibility for public decisions must be visible.
- Human review cannot amend source evidence or turn an unresolved result into a stronger claim.
- The proposed organisation and its governance remain subject to independent institutional validation.
What comes next
The public people record will grow only as the institution genuinely grows.
As appointments are made, this page will explain responsibilities, authority and conflicts. Any names published will follow the legal duties and privacy safeguards described above. Earlier institutional positions will remain part of the record.
